Does April Lane's Home Cleaning provide earth friendly products?
Yes! We have tested a wide range of products and have found the ones that are the safest and most effective. We use only earth friendly products on maintenance cleanings, where they work best. For tougher grime, we ask our clients permission to pull out the heavy-duty cleaners on a one-time basis. By providing our own quality supplies, we eliminate this burden for our clients and are certain to have the right products for the job. Also, you'll love our vacuum cleaners. We use a top of the line Swedish vacuum that has super strong suction and a great filtration system.
Is April Lane's Home Cleaning licensed, bonded and insured?
Yes! We have been a licensed business since 1987. We are bonded for up to $26,000.00 upon conviction and carry general insurance for up to $2,000,000.00.
Can I have just one cleaner assigned to my house?
Yes! Each of our clients is assigned a regular cleaner for on-going service. This cleaner starts off with an audition cleaning to make sure that they are the best match for our new client. If our client is pleased with their assigned cleaner, that cleaner becomes their new permanent cleaner. If not, then rest assured, because we have an average staff size of about 20 employees. We are certain to have a cleaner that is right for you. We also have the ability to send a team of two or more to houses that are too large for just one cleaner. Just let us know what you are looking for when you call.
Does April Lane's Home Cleaning provide employee training?
Yes! We hire our cleaners as employees rather than sub-contractors so that we can provide the training necessary to guarantee professional service. Our employees receive 50 hours of training, which includes extensive one-on-one training with our excellent lead staff, followed by double checks when they begin to clean on their own.
Do I have to be home when the cleaner comes?
No. You can be there. However, most of our clients prefer to give us a key so that the cleaner can enter and clean their home when they are away.
How is my key kept secure?
When a client gives us their key, we stamp it with a randomly generated key code which makes it identifiable only to those within our company. If someone outside of our company came across the key they would have no way of knowing to whom it belonged.
Has this security system ever failed in the company's history?
No.
What is the minimum number of hours I can schedule cleaning?
We have a two hour minimum. Most companies our size only work in teams, so they must require a 4 hour minimum charge to offset driving time pay for their cleaners. Since our cleaners are trained to work independently, we only require a 2 hour minimum, which can save our clients money.
What about my pets?
When you sign up for service, we will ask if you have pets. If you do we’ll ask for their names and if there are any special instructions regarding whether they stay inside or outside the home and if they are friendly. Our non-toxic products are safe for families and their pets.
What if something isn’t done the way I want it done?
If the job is not done to your satisfaction, just leave it as it is and call us within 48 hours. We’ll come back and make it perfect at no charge. If the work was done well but more time was needed to finish all that you would have liked done, we can arrange to schedule more time.
What if I have to cancel a cleaning?
Our flexible Cancellation Policy is client friendly and accommodates changes in your schedule.
